Star’s Football Family-
Another successful week at every level! Each opportunity we get to share on the football field is a gift and I refuse to be ungrateful. Exciting games at every level against a great Wheaton North program. Our varsity fought hard and showed a tremendous amount of grit in a wire-to-wire nail-bitter that saw the Stars seal the victory on a 3rd and 8 QB keep! I have to admit the energy and excitement of that moment are why I coach. Nothing is as special as winning a football game, especially against a quality opponent! Our sophomores battled and showed a lot of growth once again. I know the final score was not exactly what they wanted, but it is more about improvement and learning how to prepare than anything else. I am confident that they will get back on the winning ways this week. The freshman had their most impressive win of the season with a 34-7 thumping of the Falcons. Seems things are falling into place as the freshman has outscored their opponents 68-7!
As we move into the final 3rd of our season, I want to thank you for the continued support and encouragement you have given. I feel we are getting back some of what we lost during the fall! The goal of the program is to provide an elite experience to all of our families. As we continue to navigate through this pandemic season, I hope you have found some smiles and made some memories. Below is the schedule for the week, please review at your convenience. Multisport athletes are still working on the schedule provided below. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. In the meantime, our parent group will be transitioning to the year-end close-out of our season. With banquets not being allowed onn campus, our leadership team will devising different ways to show our appreciation for our players. Please be patient as we continue to develop our plan.
Finally, I am looking forward to seeing many of you at the Booster Top Golf Fundraiser! Registration is closing soon and spots are going fast. If you are still interested in attending please follow the link provided.

Star’s Football Family-
WOW! Easter already, hard to believe that we are nearing the end of our journey. It has been a while since I wrote a newsletter and it feels good to be back behind the pencil. These short updates have allowed me to connect personally with our families and community. As we approach the second half of our season, I want to thank you for the unrelenting support. As a football family, we have given our young men and women the special moments that were stolen from them early on. From the deepest corner of my heart. THANK YOU!
With the warming of the weather and the arrival of spring comes a new set of challenges. As we continue our push for a conference championship the summer seasons begin. With the addition of the summer season, over 80% of our athletes will be impacted. Baseball, lacrosse, track and field, wrestling, and volleyball all will be starting and with that, time becomes split and stress levels can rise. I want to assure you that countless hours and meetings have gone into providing a safe and collaborative environment for our student-athletes. Our head coaches have met throughout the beginning of 2021 to prepare a schedule that will encourage multisport athletes and allow our kids to experience the best of all sports. The goal of the remaining portion of this newsletter will be to highlight our North Football players’ expectations.
